Blog #9 - Wrapping Up the Week.

The week has been a tapestry of moments,
some loud with laughter and new life,
some quiet with tears and tender silence.

The birth room teaches me, again and again,
that no two days are alike.
Plans shift.
Timelines bend.
Love finds its own way to arrive.

It’s not a rat race, it’s  life.
But we always have to pause and reflect:
• Did things go as planned?
• What could I have done differently?
• Am I at peace with the way I acted, the conversations I had?
• Could I have been a better friend?
• Could I have supported my partner better?

Sometimes, to look forward,
we have to look back in reflection.

The babies I’ve met this week have reminded me:
beginnings are messy,
but they are also sacred.

And in both birth and life,
perfection is never the point,
presence is.

So here’s to the week that was,
with all its imperfections and grace.

And here’s to stepping into a new one
with open hands,
a softer heart,
and the courage to keep learning as we go.

💬 How has your week been? What’s one thing you’re carrying forward, and one thing you’re leaving behind? Share in the comments—I’d love to hear.
